This blog began as a way to chronicle my study abroad experience at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan. During this time, I wrote about anything that I observed in the world around me, whether this was food, habits, or cultural observations.


I returned to my home country to complete my degree and to search for a job. Fortunately, I had an offer upon graduation. This blog now picks up where the last one left off: With my return to Japan as a company employee. This blog is not intended to provide any sort of advice or way to "live in Japan" as so many are wont to do. Rather, this serves as a little "slice of life."
